FLT Driver/Order Picker

Job Description

You will be working for our client based in Markham Vale, Chesterfield. They are looking for a VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) & Counterbalance Driver to help add to their growing warehouse and order picking team. The role includes VNA & Counterbalance FLT driving within a warehouse environment to help order pick and stack pallets.

The shifts are 6.00am – 2.00pm (Days) and 2.00pm – 10.00pm (Afternoons). You MUST rotate shifts between Days and Afters each week. Pay rate is £9.50 per hour with overtime available.

To be a successful candidate you will have the following skills and experience:

VNA forklift truck certificate and experience, picking & packing experience, you must be computer literate, good communication skills, flexible with shifts, work well within a team, hardworking and reliable.

The role will include the following duties/departments:

• Moving pallets around the warehouse
• Helping to pick orders using FLT
• Good VNA driving skills
• Good Counterbalance driving skills
• Goods in (Despatch)
• General housekeeping duties
• Keeping work area clean and tidy

Living locally to Markham Vale or being able to drive is also important as there a limited public transport routes to site.
