Plan early
By doing this you can create goals for 2019. This way, you’re clear on what to order in the New Year
Finish your projects
Make sure you get everything done on your “to-do list” so you can start the New Year on a brand-new clean slate.
Winter clean
Refresh your workspace ready for the 2019 period. When you’ve got a spare moment, Clear desk, clear mind! tidy, organise and freshen up your desk or office area.
Exercise
The working days can be very long, particularly when everyone else is on their holiday. This is your time to get out of the office and take a walk at your breaks or lunch time. Talk to other people who are around over the holiday period, you’re not the only one who’s working over the Christmas holidays!
Limit the distractions
Fight the battle to look at your social media when you’re at work. Seeing other people’s Christmas snaps will only put you off your work and make you want to get out of the workplace
Don’t over promise
Always be realistic with your deadlines over the Christmas break. Don’t stress and try to get everything done at once before the new year, plan and achieve to succeed.
Review your past year
Look back on your 2018 year and think about what went well and what you could have done better. Then, write down your goals for the 2019 year and set your mind to achieve and conquer what you really want in your career.
Get into the spirit
Even though you’re at work, you can still get into the Christmas holiday spirit! Decorate your workspace/ office, turn up the volume and get the Christmas songs.
